Manufacturing Technician

PamGene is a Dutch biotechnology company founded in 2000 and with headquarters in Den Bosch. The company offers research services with a unique and proprietary microarray platform for functional proteomics activity profiling and cell signaling analysis. PamGene develops therapy response prediction biomarkers for candidate drugs and other active ingredients as well as diagnostic applications for a number of immuno-oncological targets. PamGene’s microarray technology is used in a broad range of applications in pharmaceutical research and in (pre)clinical development to gain insights into disease development and basic research.

Job description

Within the BioChip Manufacturing department, we have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician.  Together with the Manufacturing team members, you will play a key role in producing microarray chips for research as well diagnostic purposes at PamGene.

We are looking for a pro-active individual who is accurate and pragmatic. You will be responsible for the daily production of the microarray chips in the cleanroom. In addition you are also responsible for performing quality controls.

Job requirements

  • At least MBO-4 degree or equivalent in life science e.g. in biology, chemistry, process engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch
  • Alert for deviation or non-conformance in process and product
  • Good quality awareness
  • Has good interpersonal skills, able to work within a team to achieve common goals
  • Flexible, willing to work outside office hours
  • Affinity with working in a cleanroom
